Covered in soft red velvet with masses of retro zig zag cushions in Romo fabrics, the whole family can crash out and relax.
The black wallpaper is from Designers Guild, and with the charcoal carpet and grey walls it makes a striking backdrop for the completely bonkers mad sofa!
I brought in Chris from AV Customs in Aylesbury to supply and install the huge plasma screen, wall speakers, surround sound, gaming and DVD players
I designed the ceiling light feature which the lighting team built to give a red glow across the ceiling and a circle of star lights
The Sofa and cushions were made by The Chair and Sofa Co to my design
I finished off with electric pleated blackout blinds and striped pelmets at the windows, and a bespoke unit in bright purple gloss to contain all the media equipment.
Not for the faint hearted but fortunately it has wowed everybody. The verdict is 'Guilty' on all counts, but I plead insanity and I was definitely egged on by the client!
